Catholic Parish Church "St. Peter und Paul"
This monastery church of the Benedictine monks was founded in 1110 and consecrated in 1135. It is one of the few catholic monasteries in the Duchy of Magdeburg that survived the turmoil of the reformation right until 1806. Of the original Romanesque interior, parts of the tiled-floor, the entrance portal and the ornamentation on the imposts of the columns are still visible.
