Village church
The half-timbered tower and the baroque roof bonnet show the many alterations that this church dating from 1200 has undergone. Of particular interest is the coffered ceiling which is painted in the Flemish style. Hans Hermann von Katte found his final resting place in this church. This young Prussian officer was executed because he had helped his friend, the crown prince, to desert. This crown prince was later to become King Friedrich II.
