The element of surprise is an important building block for successful events. Saxony-Anhalt surprises with its variety of possibilities and offers in this area. The region between the Harz mountains and the Havel river, the Altmark in the north and the Burgenland in the sourth, as well as the region Anhalt-Wittenberg in the east of the state can be reached conveniently by car, bus or train. The Halle-Leipzig Airport connects Saxony-Anhalt internationally.

The Harz, Germany’s northernmost mountain range, known for its natural and cultural diversity, is also a highly recommended convention region. In the convention network “Harz TagungsPool”, 33 providers have banded together, including convention hotels, tourism organisations and special locations like Wernigerode Castle and Drübeck Monastery.
The Harz convention pool provides free, one-stop service packages: consultation, research and concrete offers.

The convention triangle: Magdeburg, Halle and Dessau
The “convention triangle” Halle, Magdeburg and Dessau is especially popular, due to excellent transportation connections and a wide variety of excursion opportunities. Dessau’s attraction lies in its unique convention and seminar facilities, like the world famous Bauhaus or the Studio of Bauhaus artists, the Anhaltian Theatre or the orangery and palace of Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom. In the city centres of Magdeburg and Halle, modern convention and congress centres can accommodate up to 2000 guests.
