Fasch Festival Days
Music lovers shouldn’t miss out on the annual Fasch Festival Days in Zerbst.
With the Fasch Festival Days, Zerbst pays tribute to the lives and works Johann Friedrich Fasch (1688—1758) and his son Carl Friedrich Christian Fasch (1736—1800). During the Fasch Festival Days the audience is treated to largely forgotten Fasch works. Johann Friedrich Fasch was conductor of the court orchestra in Zerbst and died there. His son Christian became famous as founder of the Berlin Song Academy. Next date: April 2009
