The Prince Franz Garden Realm Tour leads you through the garden realm of Dessau-Wörlitz. The wetland meadow paths of the “Middle Elbe” biosphere reserve invite exploration. Bauhaus Dessau and Luther’s city Wittenberg are quite nearby.
But the other Anhaltian regions have their own special appeal too: the horseback riding, cycling, and hiking paradises Dübener Heide (Düben Heath) and the Fläming. The regions are connected to one another by European Cycle Route R1, the Berlin-Leipzig Cycle Route and the Elbe and Saale Hiking Trails. Travel close to 100 kilometers on the Elbe and Saale rivers on a passenger ship or see the wetlands from the water in a canoe. From this perspective, you can observe fascinating aspects of the landscape that are not readily visible from the land side. Of course there are countless opportunities available for sailing, fishing, diving, surfing, and swimming.
