skip Our three-star hiking and wellness hotel is located just next to the Hochharz national park, the hiking trail to the Brocken mountain and Ilsestein. The hotel is quietly located, far away from transit traffic and thus guarantees a relaxing experience.
At only 20 minutes by car you will find our winter sports resort (snow guaranteed!) at 900 m above sea level, with ski and sledge rental, alpine and cross-country tracks!
The hotel, which was given a makeover til mid 2009, now boasts attractive bright colors and high-quality carpets. It offers a total of 109 beds in modern double, family and single rooms, plus swimming pool, sauna, infrared booth, Japanese garden, gourmet restaurant, children's playground with donkey park, playrooms with playstation, darts, pool, the newly constructed wellness area, a sitting room and TV room.
The hotel is completely handicapped accessible, with 9 specially prepared rooms that can be easily reached on a ramp or by elevator.

If you're into skiing or sledging, the Torfhaus ski resort (at an altitude of 900 m) rents out skis and sledges and offers excellent runs.
